The Taste of Garrett County 2019 was a huge success! We kindly thank all of the patrons for their support in attending and helping Garrett Trails continue to build and maintain trails throughout GarrettCounty Maryland. The event would not be possible without the amazing restaurants and vendors that so generously contribute all of the yummy food. Sunday May 3, 2020 from 4 to 7pm
2020 marks the 18th annual Taste of Garrett and is a major fundraiser for Garrett Trails. 100% of proceeds go toward progress on our trail construction plans such as the Meadow Mountain Trail resurfacing and construction, the continued construction of new hiking and biking trails at the Fork Run Recreation Area, engineering for the Youghiogheny Lake Trail north of Friendsville, and the Grantsville Bikeways Connector.
The event is packed with restaurants from all around Garrett County, MD. Patrons pay one entrance fee and then can immerse themselves in tasty treats from the area’s best chefs, prizes and raffles, entertainment and delicious new offerings and classic favorites from Garrett County's popular dining establishments.

This event is a popular and productive way to bring new people to Garrett County. The increased exposure is good for local businesses and the money raised helps to ensure the construction and maintenance of Garrett County’s amazing network of recreational trails!
Steve Green, Board Treasurer of Garrett Trails says, “Come on out and sample new dishes and classic favorite food and beverages prepared, produced, and served by local businesses.” There is no easier way to support local business as well as the construction and maintenance of the outstanding network of quality hiking and biking trails in Garrett County, MD.

Adult tickets are $30, $40 to add Beer Tasting and youth, 12 and under, are $15. Cash, check or credit cards (Visa/Mastercard - includes processing fee) are accepted.
